KURAWAKA - the vulva of the earth Mother, Papatūānuku, and wahine.

LANDBACK - a term of resistance used by Indigenous Peoples* to express reclamation of stolen lands, languages, songs, stories, identities, knowledges, ceremonies, and histories.

* The term LandBack originates in North America - Turtle Island.

We call this Kurawaka.

Kurawaka is the whare wānanga of wahine,
the karakia of wahine,
the mana and tapu of wahine.

Kurawaka is land priestessed by the Atua Wāhine.
